Are the Meet and Greets free?Yes they are free, Meet and Greets are there so you and your dog feel comfortable with who is entering the house to take them on a walk.

When do the walks start?The walks start as soon as we arrive at our destination.

My dogs aren't off-lead dogs, can they still join in on the adventure?Absolutely, off-lead and on-lead dogs can still join in on the adventure. Dogs are typically on-lead until it is safe for them to be off-lead depending on their recall.

What qualifications do you have?Level 3 Diploma in Canine Behaviour Level 3 Diploma in Canine First Aid Level 3 Diploma in Canine Communication

How many dogs can you take on a walk all at once?The dog walker will take a maximum of 3 dogs on one walk who interact well with each other

My dog isn't spayed, can she still go on walks?Yes, we will pair her up with dogs who have been neutered or are of the same gender. Owners must tell Hiking Hounds when their dog is in season as agreed upon in the terms and conditions.

Can my dog go on walks even if he isn't neutered?Yes, he can still join in on the adventure

Does your walker have their own equipment?Yes, our dog walker has his own leads and towels, but ideally towels should be left out for the dog walker to dry down on return.

What areas do you cover?Our dog walker covers Hadfield, Hollingworth, Tintwistle, Mottram, Broadbottom, Charlesworth and Chisworth and parts of Stalybridge.

What are the benefits behind Home StaysThere are quite a few benefits behind Home Stays: Hiking Hounds will take care of pets from Fish to Dogs. The advantage of having someone present in your home whilst you are away. Your pet will get their daily walk and have the chance to socialise with other dogs. Your pet will be in their regular routine and in familiar surroundings keeping any anxiety to a minimum.

Do you do 1-2-1 dog walks?Yes Hiking Hounds does 1-2-1 walks but with the owners permission we try to integrate gradually with other dogs so they can have the same experience as other dogs where possible.
